was going to call it 'fangirl's perspective on puppy love' but, once again, that was too long.
i was watching the 2nd HP movie with ~FriedBrains this past weeked, and there was much slashing. eventually we realized that the characters were, like, 12 - and that's just a bit creepy. i forget who thought of it first, but an Eddie Izzard [british stand-up comic] bit came to mind: the one where he's comparing flirting when you're an adult to flirting when you're a kid. there was something about wanting to be suave, but you're a kid so of course you're just going to wind up hitting the object of your affection with bread. the adult bit had something to do with coffee. yes, i quoted Izzard in the comic.
